When children are wound up at a physical, mental or emotional level, they become less grounded. The feelings of anxiety, strain, or over-stimulation can (unconsciously) pull their energy levels up. Yoga’s grounding techniques teach us how to send our energy down, find balance and keep calm. Through yoga poses and educational games, I follow a simple way to practice rooting down.

My background as a certified UK Early Years Practitioner in both main stream and Waldorf Steiner education, and mum of a young circus acrobat, has allowed me to produce very successful yoga sessions for children.
